Sin prevents us from loving the way God does. We may try and succeed many times, and we will fail many times too. Living in the flesh holds back our Spirits so much that we are constantly fighting a battle to lift up our own spirit. When the world around us does the same, we easily fall into it. We overcomplicate our lives and misplace value so often that we repeatedly fail God. But without God, we'd likely never know that kind of love in the first place. Conditional love drains the world and our hearts and each others' hearts as it displaces and separates us. But God unites us together when we focus on Him. Have Faith and know that God's love will pour out for you. We are his children. Let Him raise us so that one day we may come back to him with joy

The last verse sunk in me deep. "Every precious one, a child you died to save. If you gave your life to love them, so will I" Means we are all precious & we should look to each other with kindness, gratitude & love. We shouldn't end, hate or speak ill. Only love as he loves us. I heard a story of a guy that challenged himself for a week to treat everyone he makes contact with, stranger or not, as if they were Jesus in disguise. It dramatically changed his life. Then I think of this verse in this song & it's an easy thought.
